Installing SOFiSTiK 2020 primarily involves using the SOFiSTiK Application Manager (SAM), which handles the download, installation, and updating of all software components, including FEA packages and BIM apps for Revit and AutoCAD.  Pre-Installation Requirements  Before starting, ensure your system is prepared: 

Platform Software: Ensure the required host programs (e.g., Autodesk Revit 2020 or AutoCAD 2020) are already installed, as SOFiSTiK plugins will not install without them.

System Settings: Temporarily disable antivirus software or whitelist SOFiSTiK files if you encounter errors.

Download SAM: Visit the SOFiSTiK Downloads page and download the SOFiSTiK Application Manager.
