4. Run the command: Type the following and press Enter: gimgunlock_v0.04.exe your_map_file.img (Replace your_map_file.img with the actual name of your file)
5. Interpret the result: If successful, you will see a message saying: "Unlocked: your_map_file.img" or "Patch applied successfully." The original file is often overwritten or a new unlocked version is created.
6. Test the map: Load the patched .IMG file into Garmin BaseCamp, QGIS (with the GDAL plugin), or transfer it to your legacy device.
