Plug your guitar into your interface. On a audio track, insert Pitch Monster. Set the carrier to "External Sidechain" and send a simple MIDI synth pad to it. Now, strumming your guitar will "play" the chords of the synth. Great for ambient Dream Pop.

- 64-bit DAW (Cubase, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper, Studio One)
- 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended for heavy polyphony)
- 100MB free disk space
Steps:
- Download: Locate the
DeviousMachines_PitchMonster_1.3.6_Win.zipfile. - Extract: Unzip the folder. You will see an
.exeinstaller and aDocumentationfolder. - Run Installer: Right-click the
.exeand select "Run as Administrator." - Select Format: The installer will scan for your VST3 folder (usually
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) and AAX folder (for Pro Tools). Ensure the correct paths are selected. - Authorize: Open your DAW. Load Pitch Monster on a track. Enter the serial key provided by Devious Machines or start the 14-day trial (full functionality).
- Test: Load the preset "Initial Harmony" and play a vocal clip. If you hear 3 voices, success.
